Cathlena Mason
Cathlena Mason is an advocate for social justice and mental health with extensive community involvement. She studied Sociology with a focus on Anti-Racism at York University and holds a Law Enforcement diploma from Seneca College. Throughout her career, Cathlena has worked with organizations to support marginalized groups and promote mental health awareness.
With 25 years of experience at the Toronto Transit Commission, Cathlena has demonstrated her commitment to serving the community. She has worked with Downsview Mediation Services, a nonprofit focused on community mediation, and contributed to the justice system as a board member of Elizabeth Fry, an organization assisting women and girls navigating legal challenges. As a founding board member of Across Boundaries, she has played a key role in supporting mental health and addiction services for racialized communities.
